The 1.5 oz Silver Canadian Polar Bear Coin features the prominent profile of Queen Elizabeth the II. An inscription of her name adorns the top of the coin in bold letters as well its denominal value and year of production on the bottom. 
 
The reverse side portrays, the endangered polar bear.  A close up inspection of the coin reveals such mastered craftsmanship that the hairs on the polar bears can be seen in detail. The reverse side also carries the .9999 purity stamp & Canada above the polar bears image.
